The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial was a nice kick-off to this momentous week. U2 was so awesome - they are still the best. I actually got weepy as they went from "Pride" into "City of Blinding Lights" - loved it. Beyonce also sounded great singing "America the Beautiful".
Obama's speech was fantastic and it was very moving to witness him giving his speech with the Lincoln Memorial in the background. This is an amazing time. The whole atmosphere was uplifting and exciting and hopeful. I love it. I'm giddy.
